Presented By: Elki of Interior Elegance by Elki, Wayne, New Jersey: Elki Horn was born in Panama, and moved to the US as a teenager. Her first career, as a dental hygienist, left her unfulfilled and seeking more. Finding her creative passion in sewing, it would be the fabrication industry that would capture her heart, and help her realize her vision. Her talent for overcoming challenges, taking on jobs most would turn away from, and her penchant for finding solutions has led her work to be featured in publications such as, Country Living, 201, and Design NJ. She works closely with local designers in the TriState area, however her reach and work extends both nationally and internationally. It’s not hard to go to a job everyday you truly love, but the secret to Elki keeping the balance in her life stems from her personal values. Keeping God first in her life, and keeping Him involved. It’s her heart's mission that continues to give her drive and purpose everyday, believing the more one gives, the more they’ll receive; so you’ll find Elki sharing her knowledge, sharing her talents, sharing her resources, and sharing her time to an industry that has given her so much already. |
